OOC: ((Just a timeline of Ælbdís Gaomee's life. For orientation for friends and myself, else I'll be forgetting or mixing everything up. Hihi))

First Age (Years of the Trees)
• ca. 4608 Ælbdís is born as first daughter of her Avarin parents, during the wandering of her kin.
• 4611 Ælbdís' sister Estra is born.
- The Elves reach in the same year the Erebor and wander further north to the lands that are today known as the Withered Heath.
• 4618 The kin opens up the first encampment after many years of wandering. Tents are their homes, they have not yet the knowledge to build with stone.
- Estra discovers a herd of Heath-Ox, the future incoming of milk, meat and fur for the Elves.
• 4632 Ælbdís and Estra begin to learn how to read and write from their parents. The scripture is by now long forgotten.
• 4641 The Elves break up camp and go further to the north-west, until they reach the outskirts of the Grey Mountains.
• 4642 First contact with the dwarves. The borders of communication cannot be breached as the languages between the two peoples differ too strongly. Both make sure to be here in peace and to abide the other. The Dwarves vanish then to Ælbdís' displeasure under the earth.
• 4678 Orcs appear for the first time to the Elves. With primitive bows and spears they are driven back and Ælbdís' father joins on that the group of warriors.
- They begin to make armors from wood and leather.
• 4680 Elves turn to Manwë, that he may help them against the Orcs. Ælbdís' mother builds an idol of the Vala and becomes his High-Priestess.
• 4683 The Dwarves re-appear and come to the Elves' aid. They teach them the crafting of armor and the smithing and forming of steel into weapons. The Orcs are defeated by the Union of warriors and dwarves.
- Trade is afterwards established between Elves and Dwarves.
- The coming of the Dwarves is interpreted as aid of Manwë and the Vala becomes the patron of the Elves.

• 4711 Estra is taken as adult now as well and joins her father and the warriors.

• 4900 Ælbdís' mother is speaking of the great evil from Utumno and its return. The first Prophecy of the Dark Time is being written.
• 4995 The world grows dark, the light of the Trees fade and the Dark Time arrives. Orcs and Trolls begin to seek out the Elves more and more often, each time attacking harder.
- The Warriors lead now the community and the Elves retreat into the mountains where they can defend themselves.

• 501 Ælbdís tells Farodir of a strange dream she had and the possible return of the Dark Time. Farodir speaks to her in return of Morgoth having been cast from this world and a scenario such as Ælbdís imagines would be impossible to come upon the world a second time.
