Now that Elorfin has taken young Frøydis under his wing and teaches her the eldarin way, the young woman decided to write a song in honor to Oromë/Béma. For some time she had thought the huntsman would have forsaken her, but with the encouragement of the Elves of Imladris she has taken new courage to go her way and that Béma watches over her once again.
Oromë Meldar Heru
In the eldest tales that did since long betide
It is woven in fate and prophesied
Our hearts' yearning will come to an end
When the clout of discord is spend
In the darkest of days forlorn
I am not lost
Through the woods of the Eldar
Sounds a golden horn!
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron ar Argallon
You are the first to ride the path ahead
Set by you on the Elven Path I tread
My face bathed in the divine grace
As I follow in the steps of your trace
And I sing for all world to heed:
'Our lord of the forests is here,
Star-white is the rider
Upon the gallant steed!'
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron ar Argallon
My courage you call once more forth
The honest love of a daughter of the North
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron
Oromë Meldar Heru!
Aman haila!
Aman haila ná
Aldaron ar Argallon
