The Beauty of Lake Nenuial

"Oi! Ye didn't give me the coin in time!", the brigand shouted as he threw another man against the stone wall in the small trading settlement of Ost Forod. The sound of a fight soon filled the cold morning air as the two brigands 'sorted' out their issues.

"Urgh.", groaned Hiath as he lifted his head up from the pillow, squinting through the sleep in his eyes and brushing the long dark hair from Briannon out his face. His blue-grey eyes looked down upon the morning business of the town. Briannon, who was until now fast asleep leaning against him soon mumbled and stretched out with a yawn, her small hand patting onto Hiath's face as she smiled with eyes still closed from slumber.

"Morning, my love.", she spoke as pulling his hair lightly.

"Morning to you as well, dear.", he smiled as looking down to her and quickly placing a kiss upon her head. "Come now, get ready! We are going for a trip!". He lifted the bedroll covers and stood up, getting into a simple black shirt he had bought just yesterday. A tired sigh escaped from Briannon, before she eventually awoke to get ready too.

The birds were chirping happily in the sky, whilst the lush green grass and the tall pines swayed gently in the warmer wind that came with the summer sun. Hand in hand, the couple walked down along the dirt path as they smiled and enjoyed the beautiful sights that Evendim beheld. Soon, they arrived at the docks where Hiath had already arranged to take a boat out for the day.

Into the water they went, rowing along through the crisp clear waters of Lake Nenuial, the only noise to be heard was the two talking and the sound of oars breaking the surface though soon the perfect day was soon worsening.. dark clouds had gathered overhead, and the still surface was disturbed by the bullets of rain that was thrown down from above!

"Hiath! It's horrendous! Let's stop at the bank and wait until it passes under a tree!", Briannon pouted as she pulled a cloak over her head in an attempt to keep her dry as the boat rowed closer to the shore, soon thudding as it hit into the bank.

"Here we are.. lets go find somewhere to dr-..", just before he could finish, Hiath was interrupted by the roar of a waterfall and a grin came to his lips. "What place is drier than under a waterfall, love?" He chuckled before lifting her up by the waist onto his shoulder and started to wade through the waist high water that led to the waterfall..

Underneath the silvery certain they slipped, getting even more wet in the process though it was worth it! A hidden passage led them into the mountain side, where a water filled path led them to a place of old beauty. Elven ruins lay around in the opening, where willow trees blossomed and water moved still. The perfect place..

"I think this is the perfect place..", said Hiath as his hand slipped into his pocket.

"Perfect for what?", Briannon asked in awe as her wide emerald eyes looked around the beautiful place.

"Perfect to make you my wife properly.", he spoke as he pulled out a golden ring with a ruby gem sat in the middle as he slid it upon her finger. "I love you, my -wife-." He smiled to her as he placed a kiss on her lips.

Tears rolled down her cheeks, as her arms wrapped around her husbands neck, "Oh I love you too, Hiath!" She shouted out happily as kissing him again and again.

The perfect spot for the perfect wedding.. The Vagabond and the Skylark finally bonded together, til death do them part.
