Dear notebook
It's yet another grey rainy morning.
The rapidly changing spring weather keeps us all in it's grasp.
Another sleepless night had passed into the mist of darkness while it left it's shade lingering inside the mind.
Like a shard from a broken mirror a memory was trapped in the nightly cobweb.
I remember the smell of burnt flesh , mock and sweat was following me while i sneaking around the ruins.
The birds was circling around in the air just waiting for me and my companions to pass.
The captain raised his hand and made us stop moving.
I saw my friend slowly reached down and grabbed the handle of her sword while we both glanced at each other knowing calmly what was going to happen.
Someone was whispering.. Maetho ’nin gurth.. behind me as i could was to smile and whisper :
"sui men innas ..estelio nin..an ngurth ah aglar" in return while i coated the tip of the arrow with poison.
I woke up with the restless feeling keeping me from falling back to sleep .
*She remember how she was holding on to the pillow while she was looking out through the window in a attempt to clear her head.
A small ray of the pale moon gently touched her face in a loving care reminding her of the beauty of the nightfall.
Keithia glanced at the shadows that was playing around on the wall before she slowly got herself out of bed and walked down the stairs.
She noticed the tea kettle was placed on the table as she reached out and touched it.
The worn kettle was still warm from recent use.
The flickering light from a lantern out in the garden caught her attention as she opened the door and stepped out.
Bill turned his head and smiled at her while he had a weary express over his wrinkled face.
- Oy can't sleep ey? aye me brother told about it.. ain't yer fault girly.. sit have some herbal tea.
She gave him a nod before she curled up in the chair.
- Just tired of this ..she pulled the over sized well patched cotton shirt over her knees.
Bill chuckled softly while he reached out his hand in understanding.
She smiled gently at the old man and placed her hand in his calloused hand.
- "Damn the war i am telling ye .."
She notice he was holding on to the notes she was delivered few days ago and nodded slowly
- "So many casualties.."
- "Aye .. ye haven't talked to the others have ye?"
- "Not yet.. will send a brief note to some
- "Why don't ye stay with us for awhile ey girly ? help me out a bit with the farm don't return to this bloody mess."
She found her grinning at that comment.
- "It sure is .. bloody "
They both chuckled
- "Oy that was clever wasn't .. aye the ol' man still know bring those words around."
- "Nay girly stay with us just fer awhile Toby will be caught up with the trades the farm needs tending ye know and me back ain't the best
and missus already busy caught up with the young ones and the shop."
Keithia remember how she smiled gingerly at the old man before reached out for the flowerly tea cup and gave him a nod.
- "For awhile ..."
My dearest friend even if my feet is outside on the dusty road my heart is willing to accept the thoughtful offer of stillness for the time being.
It gives me a respite to begin to write down a list and gather supplies since the journey is long.
Perhaps i will be granted the blessing to live such a life one day without the mean without the cause to do more then what the day will offer.
"Athan i dagor ben bein dúath en dû serathon aen no lith sennui ast ben dîn celeb calad en ithil..."

((few weeks after that Keithia left the farm to deliver those notes and has been gone ever since))
