Background
Wulf's Legacy unites Dunlendings across all clans based on the pride of mutual heritage. From Rohan to Enedwaith and beyond, Dunlendings share a common culture, kinship, and history, rife with conflict against each other and their common foe, the forgoil. Wulf's Legacy brings together those who claim this heritage. Like Wulf, our Great Ancestor, we hope to continue the work he started near two-hundred and fifty years ago—cross the Isen, and kill the King.
"Of their language nothing appears in this book, save the name Forgoil which they gave to the Rohirrim (meaning Strawheads, it is said). Dunland and Dunlending are the names that the Rohirrim gave to them, because they were swarthy and dark-haired."
—The Lord of the Rings, Appendix F, "The Languages and Peoples of the Third Age", "Of Men"
In their own language, the Dunlendings call themselves Cymry, which means "fellow country men."
This is a culture kinship, designed to connect and support Dunlending characters, whether they are ICly related or not. The word Cymry to be used among Dunlendings to describe themselves can be attributed to Pren. Wulf's Legacy uses the Discord Rohan & the Wild Hills to connect outside of game.
