The elves of Ered Luin are coming together to celebrate the festival of Nost-na-Lothion by revelling under trees and in fields abundant with blossoming flowers. Occasionally, an elf strikes up a song with their lute or harp, while those listening let their feet carry them into dance among the petals drifting on the wind. Those watching on the sides pass around wine and food to share with their kin.

((Please obtain a [Sack of Petals] at the Spring Festival and bring it to the event to participate in a showering of flower petals at the end! All elven characters are welcome. More information on this event can be found at: http://laurelinarchives.org/node/46291))

A stained parchment is nailed to the gate entry to Thorin's hall, and another in the tavern, and around.

Hear ye, hear ye Dwarves of Thorin's hall! I am one of the Caravan guards that protects the routes between Erebor and the Blue mountains, and it seems that on our way here, bloody Goblin fiends had ambushed us, looted half our trade, and killed several of our men. Seeing as we are short-bodied at the moment, its come to the conclusion that we need more men. We would need a prospector, two more guards, one more merchant, and a blacksmith. I should be around the Tavern in Thorin's hall for quite some time, come and seek ol Todsi out! if you want in treasure and companionship.

((Hello all! if any of your character is a Dwarf, or a mercenary, and saw this parchment and is interested, come on down to the Tavern in Thorin's hall. We can discuss a time where it would be best for eachother to meet, send a mail either in here, or in-game. Contact me on Todsi. The Caravan is on move through Ered Luin, to the shire, then will stop at Bree for some time, all can still join!))

Lord Borimi Veinbolt of the Blue Mountains, a Lord of great honour and strength, was once the leader of one of the most powerful clans in Eriador, Veinbolt's Company.

However, dark times fell upon the clan and Lord Veinbolt's followers were lost. Some fell nobly in battle, fighting for their lord. Others lost heart and reside in Ered Luin, awaiting the return of their leader and a small few were corrupted by the darkness and abandoned their vows, turning to other clans.

But now, Lord Veinbolt is returning. Word of his return to Ered Luin is spreading across Eriador quickly and the news is that he's recruiting. He's looking for the strongest, most honourable, most noble dwarves to restore Veinbolt's Company to greatness!

((OOC: Heavy RP Rank 10 Dwarf only Kinship. Lots of history and detailed backstory. Based around the unique idea that our leader is a Dwarf Lord. Lots of military, social and economic events planned. Contact Borimi or Pheili for details either IC, over tell, or through Mail.))

Folk of Durin! Friends of the Eldar!

Let it be known that a company of the Firstborn shall soon be walking the paths to the wondrous hidden vale of Imladris.

Even now, Elves gather in Duillond and prepare for the journey: some go to trade, some to seek wisdom in matters of craft or lore - and yet others will travel simply to visit relatives or friends dwelling in Imladris. It is our intention to take the road shortly after the next full moon - specifically, Oranor, 45th day of Firith, at the hour of 2 bells after noontide.

Those among the dwarrowfolk of Ered Luin who are counted as friends and allies of the Loth-i-Lonnath are welcome to take the road east with us. Be you of good heart and no ill will, your fellowship will be welcome upon the road - in return, we assure you safe passage to the last homely house, where fair trade and fine hospitality await!

May the brightest blessings of the Valar be with you,

Golphedenir ~ Master of Apprentices and representative of the Falathlorn Artisans' Council.

---------------------------------------------------

(OOC: Any wishing to join us...this is a two-day event, running consecutively on the 11th and 12th November 2014. We depart Duillond on Tuesday 11th November, 2pm servertime / 7pm GMT, travelling approximately halfway to Rivendell; beginning at the same time on the Wednesday, we aim to arrive in Imladris in time to catch the Hall of Fire gathering, where the dust of the road can be washed away with fine wine, ale and merry dancing!)

Attention all brave Dwarrows.
By pesonal request of Ale Association founder Jónar, all ale-loving Dwarrows are invited to join the Ale Association. The filthy so-called 'Inn League' are continuously gaining more and more influence in the West and we feel that it is high time to fight back and prove to all that no ale can match Dwarrow ale.

If you feel that you are up to the task of standing tall in the name of the Ale Association, let us know.

Contact Fadar or Fundgi for further details.
