Fearanie is a Nolde, as evidenced by her appearance and much of her manner. Though not yet full grown, she has the promise of a height of six foot or more. She has an alert and agile quality about her, which stand her in good stead as she declares she isn't that keen on weapons.  Her deep black hair is thick, and often drawn back from her face by a clasp. Her eyes are a misleadingly soft blue-grey. To any Secondborn she would appear around sixteen years of age. She is fifty one, so just an adult. 

Fearanie's manner is often quiet and determined. She tries to be well-mannered, but is prone to speak her mind to any company. She can be adventurous, and pay less heed to safety than she probably should.

She speaks Sindarin and knows a very few words of Western Quenya.
