Alewood is a well spoken individual, recently he hasn't bothered to pay the barber a visit so he has arranged his hair into a ponytail and has neglected to keep his facial hair in check. Other than that he doesn't stand out from the rest of the crowd, something which he appreciates.

Background

Son of a healer,  Alewood was raised in a fine and stable household as an only child. He was taught how to read, write and among other things by his mother which was of educated ilk. During his youth he did not show any interest in following in the foot steps of his father nor did his father impose his profession onto him.

For a good amount of his teenage years he was uninspired, he would spend his days working small jobs for coin, reading books regarding subjects of interest to him and on occasion he would go on hunting trips with his friends near the River Running. He then found a job at an inn as a cook. An activity which he quite enjoyed, he spent several years serving up meals and cooking delicious food refining his trade. This would seem to be an unremarkable life. But one day he would be taken away by the unforgivable hands of fate...

He was thrown into jail on the charge of murdering a noble. It seemed that an important member of the high society of Dale was killed while on a stroll through the night streets. Seeing as the only individual in the area was Alewood, the influential guilty party saw an opportunity and used him as a scapegoat as means to free themselves from blame.

Despite the fact that Alewood's family was respected by the community mostly for the contributions of Alsword as one of the towns best healer and Alewood coming from a long line of hard workers and military men, they could do little to over turn the guilty verdict. Though thankfully due to the suspicious circumstances and the general lack of concrete evidence Alewood's sentence got reduced to 3 years.

In jail Alewood shared a cell with a man named Hulund. He was a Burglar that had apparently gotten arrested for assaulting a city official. There he learned many things from Hulund about the Burglar life style and skills. Though reluctant at first, he figured that learning such things would make for a good distraction in his wait to serve out his sentence. During his time in jail Alewood's father fell ill, due to this his family stopped visiting which made him feel depressed. Once finally released Alewood was overjoyed at the thought that he could walk as a free man . But quickly Alewood found that the world and people around him had changed since his incarceration.

He made his way to his home to find it that it had been repossessed, It had seemed that there was no one living there for the last year. He went to a bar to meet up with his old friends even though there was much joy and laughter at first  they quickly filled him in on the situation, how his father had passed away and the whereabouts of his mother were unknown. His fiancee had also sought another man. The grim reality of Alewood's life had finally caught up to him. Finding no comfort in the prospect of revenge, he sought to run from this tragedy, abandoning the city of Dale, hoping never to return to the place which seemed to curse him.

He wandered the land for some years roaming the areas between Dale, Esgaroth and close to Mirkwood while even joining up with a band of brigands for a short period of time in desperate hopes of finding his mother and gaining coin but after awhile he renounced. He finally arrived to Combe in the Bree-lands with hopes of seeking new opportunities.

After the countless experiences, meeting of various people, making many friends and some interesting adventures residing in the Bree lands, one day Alewood had decided time had come to head back east presumably towards the Kingdom of Dale. Without saying his goodbyes for they were best left unspoken he went off into the eastern horizon never to be seen in Bree again.
