Arunel

Arunel and Daellas moved into the lone lands. Suddenly they heard screams for help. Sounded like a womans voice. The brothers ran towards a gap in the hills which leads to old ruins called Minas Eriol. The ran into a scene, two cloaked men were standing over a man who was down, and a woman looking desperate. The brothers analysed the situation and quickly grabbed their weapons.

The encounter

It has been a while since I took time to write in this journal. Yet today things happened that needs to be remembered. The journey so far went without much trouble, besides the warriors that crossed our path when we left Bree-land. Yet today trouble found our company again. This morning when we woke near the wild flowing river, we could not find Leofmund. After an hour he walked towards us without his horse, looking grim. The horse had ran off for some reason. I tried to give him hope that his faithful horse would return, but saw he was holding the bridle.

As the sun slowly rises in the Trollshaws valley, the new fellowship was making themselves ready for departure. Daellas still had a hard time believing that Leofmund and Wulfreda went out looking for them. He knew Wulfreda from other expeditions, in the cold weather of Forochel she had proven herself as a strong and versatile woman. Leofmund he did not know at all, he was quite new and stubborn to bring his horse along. Nonetheless, the company was eager to depart.
