Prologue

Story

Prologue

‘Everything is going according to schedule, sir.’
‘And yet, I am uneasy.’
Cyla Grimblade stood at ease in front of her captain, the white and gold of her leather armour was surprisingly ornate for a fighting force as strong as the Eagle Guard, but that was a lie. The leather itself was strong, an unyielding hide that had more than once saved Cyla from a maiming sword slash.

Ventris Journal, Entry Five

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
Entry: Fifth Dated: 9th of August Subject: Change of plans I have been rather busy of late, too busy in fact to even sit down and place my thoughts into pages. The Summer Ball will not be happening, after all. It is good that I have not put up hiring requests; it would have been a waste of time for everyone. *Flashes a look upstairs at the sound of coughing, getting up and leaving the journal for some time before returning*

Ventris Journal, Entry Four

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
Entry: Fourth Dated: 22nd of July Subject: Dreams I have been plagued by dreams of late, which in itself is nothing new. I have barely met a single solider who does not suffer from nightmares from time to time, but none are so terrifying and repeatable then mine. *Isilorbor sits in bed as he writes this, Lendes by his side with Lendil in her arms trying to get him to calm down to fall asleep*

The Ventris Family, Part Two

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
Out in the Garden, Lendes lead her husband by both his hands giggling like a little girl on Yule. Isilorbor was blindfolded and being lead towards the house with each unsure step, relaying totally off his wife, and at her mercy. “I really do not like this.” Isilorbor groaned, breathing a little deeply as was slowly being lead up the garden. Lendes tuted, the grin growing on her face by the second. “My dearest love, you’ve fought orcs in their hundreds and your afraid of little old me with a blindfold?” Lendes purred. Isilorbor laughed.

Story
“If you keep staring at him any longer, you will burn a hole in the wall.” Isilorbor said without looking, titling his wine glass to sip from the contexts. “Not after burning a hole in him.” Lendes replied tensely, glaring at someone within the Prancing Pony with a stare that only she could beam. “I do not see what the problem is.” Isilorbor spoke after lowering his wine glass, his tone uninterested. “He thinks he’s the bloody hero of the west!” This time, Lendes’ gaze fell on her husband, but softened somewhat.
