OOC: This turned into a longer story than I'd originally intended, and I haven't yet properly edited it as I'm posting quite late - so apologies. More importantly, it references the journey taken by Galadriel through Moria in the second age before Lothlórien was established, and noting that there is a certain ambiguity on different drafts of when and why that happened in the lore, I'm taking the interpretation (having received some trusty advice) of the view that she embarked on this before the break out of war (i.e.

'Finally one of the revelers noticed the stranger in their midst. They motioned to the guards to approach the Halfling lass dressed in strange armour.

PART 1: THE SEARCH FOR GILDOR INGLORIEN

~The Court of Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel~

'Neldordil, I have a task for you,' said Galadriel to her chief tracker.

'You need only ask, Lady,' he answered.

Lothlorien had been beautiful. The golden Mallorns were a balm to Envandiel’s soul as she sat under their ancient beauty. Galadriel was a gracious host, and the journey with the Eledhrim of Aurandel and Airingil had been healing. 

Thibinoriel, Celebthondil, and members of their family sat comfortably at their dining table as they broke their fast. Suddenly, there came a knock at the door which Thibinoriel answered. It was a messenger bearing a note from Lady Galadriel. Thibinoriel thanked the messenger and placed a small green gem in his hand. She carefully opened the note and began to silently read it. When she had finished she returned to the dining table to share the news.
