Marching to Annuminas/ North downs

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Finally we left Bree on our way to the North downs, passing through Trestlebridge.

Upon reaching the city, we saw that there was a great fire and several houses were in ruins. All this produced by the last assault of orcs that they suffered a few weeks ago.

Belenir wanted to focus his attention on Fornost, the ancient city of the Dunedains. According to his historian, there are artifacts, relics, that are still asleep and hidden from the eyes of evil. Our duty to Gondor involves keeping these relics safe.

She'd crossed that bridge dozens of times before. The Trestlespan was strong and sturdy, and its wooden walls hid most of the ravine below it from view.

The Black Steel sat just outside of Trestlebridge, eating the lunches that Cedwyn had prepared for them. The men talked about romance and others things and at some point started messing about, so Mornenion left to take a short walk, to gather his thoughts before the dangers that they would face shortly occur.

Fiontann decided to stop off at Trestlebridge, to allow both The Black Steel and their horses to rest, before they head out to Fornost. Everyone stepped up to the fountain to cool themselves down, as the midday got quite hot. Then they decided to go have lunch, sitting away in the trees, so that the townsfolks wouldn't stare so much.

After the events of the night before, everyone gathered just before dawn to set out to ride to Fornost, to find the Bracelet of Hope and stop the Angmarim from finding it themselves. The sun rose as they rode and it turned out to be a nice Spring morning, making many of The Black Steel forget for a moment the daunting task ahead.

From Amon Raith, The Black Steel rode fast towards the farms. As they approached, the sickly, sweet smell of burnt flesh reached their noses. Tying up their horses to a fence, The Black Steel investigated the farm, seeing unimaginable horrors, the like that only a few of the company had seen before.

Entry #5: Decisions

Diary

Hello, old friend! I haven't written to you for some time, have I? How have you been? Sitting in my saddlebags, gathering dust, I see.

I know it's been far too long, and perhaps you'd like to hear what I've been up to. No, not yet. I have more pressing concerns. But you know how I can be; how I tend to ramble, covering ideas from here, there, and everywhere in between. Maybe you'll catch snatches as I go.

Existence, Merely Existence

Lissi wasn't sure where she would go. Bree was not a good option, since nearly everyone she knew and loved was there. Her presence would place them in danger.

Too much. Too much death around her.
