Watch

It was early afternoon when Fiontann met with his apprentice, they talked for hours and he learned that some foreigners started an uproar against the Watch. Fiontann considers them useless, but it's only him that can do that, not those Outsiders that infest his town... After his apprentice left he went to his desk and took some pieces of parchment, in them he wrote his opinion about the matter and his support towards the Watch, one was sent to the jail, their Quarters and three or four more were hung in the town in places to be seen!

They did well, they did as I told them. I sent them to that old hermit woman's house in Combe to watch her and see if she has dealings with a guard. Indeed she has. He visited her late after sundown and they spoke for a long time, it seems that she was showing something on a book to him but Aeirillen couldn't see what it was, nor the name of the book.

Today marked my first official victory over Nessya. 

The water that arrived on the day that would ultimately mark the beginning of the end was familiar. It caused the same seizuring and choking as the first cup that Brigwald had drank did. However, this time it was worse. It tasted off, that was a first, and the results were far more drastic. Dracius had taken a sip before Brigwald and the effects were immediate. He continuously threw himself against the iron bars, trying to knock whatever it is that had taken a hold of him out.

Brigwald was on patrol. Alone. An act that was out of the question for some of the lower level Watchers. However, you might say that Brigwald had some confidence in his abilities, he was still alive after everything he had seen after all. Though, this particular day turned into one that he would come to regret. Most of his route went off without a hitch, it was actually a quiet night. Then he entered the Stone Quarter after a lap around Beggar's Alley.

His mug mug struck the table as he set it down, soon following with a rumbling laugh. Skunkwood raised his fist to brush away the tears his fit of laughter brought him, Applewood had a sort of quiet laugh as he sat down on the chair his head tilted as he looked down his boot.
