((A message, written on some parchment and hanged around the towns of Bree, Combe and Staddle, or occasionally shouted by the Town Crier))
Mister Berrywine is looking for builders and carpenters to rebuild a house and a windmill! He's also looking for farmers to put to work both here in Bree-Land and in the Shire!
Find him at the Prancing Pony in Bree, or at the Weapons and Armour shop next to the vault, still in Bree, if you're interested!
((Sharkey's Men, willing to provide some more down-to-earth roleplay, bringing 'playing farmers' to our lands both in Bree-Land and in the Shire. Contact me, Ildrand, either in game -by mail or by tell- or here on the Archives -with a message- if you're interested. Make sure to contact me if you are interested in a different role in the kinship, too.))

During the course of an investigation, it has come to the attention of the Watch that the unidentified, older bandit of the infamous Stone Quarter Bandits has fled eastward after an encounter with a member of the Watch. He has sustained heavy injuries and can be identified by easily discernable scarring across his eyes, lips, forehead, chin, and nose, as well as several signs of age, placing him his late thirties to early fourties. Additionally, he has lost one of his pinkie fingers and is rumoured to be using a cane for walking.
He has passed the Forsaken Inn by now and is most likely on his way to the old fortress of Ost Guruth.
The Watch would like to use this occasion to remind all who it may concern of the bounty of 1500 silver for the head of this man, as well as his accomplice Robert Beckenridge, who is still remaining in town. Those who do not have the means to defend themselves are advised to stay alert when traversing the roads of Bree Town at late hours.
Attached is a sketch of the fleeing bandit.

((In the Chetwood Forest alone he was found, with a new set of raggedy clothes and a lack of memory to boot. Tholorast and Nylee cared not-- they were only relieved of a worry weighing down on their shoulders heavier than any other worry they had ever had. It was a long half-year, and Wenford seems quite well. Unkowingly, Tholorast is also relieved of the HUGE bounty he had put on sightings of Wenford. He was never very good with finance. His new task would be to inform his daughter, Cheyse, of the good news..))

The bounty on the infamous, Stone Quarter Bandits, has been increased to 1500 silver a head!
It has been confirmed by eye witnesses that the man depicted on the left, has easily discernable scarring across his eyes, lips, forehead, chin, and nose, as well as several signs of aging, now believed to put him in his later thirties, or early forties. Common behavioral patterns, include wandering the area behind the inn, likely looking for suspects, and spitting sickly looking fluid onto the cobblestone.
Update - Bandit Identified
The Accomplice, depicted on the right, is a man called Robert Brokenridge. Nineteen years of age, known resident of Beggar's alley. His hair is a solid brown, eyes to match, beard short and surprisingly neat. He wields a large, steel hammer, with a pike on the back, and a flat head on the front. He is average in build, a bit taller in size than most. He can be identified by a very apparent scar on his right eye, obtained as a youth, and by his thick accent of Bree's poor folk. It is believed that he's a second hand in the attacks, not the primary mind behind it.

Muster of the Rohhrim
This is a calling to any and all peoples of Rohhric Descent, and especially to the refugees of Langhold. The time has come for our people to return to their homes, and run down the goblins and orcs that plague our land. We will not deny anyone their right to return home, however to be a part of our warband/return caravan, we ask that you can brandish a weapon with reasonable skill. There will be many threats to us on this journey, and we would like to have as little loss of life as possible. I have already purchased a large plot of land from a fellow Thane, where we will rebuild. Again, anyone can come along on our journey, regardless of gender or previous status in Rohan, we only ask you to defend yourself if need be. We will accept other races, and other nationalities of men, but note that you must provide good reason to want to join, and you must have some tie to rohan. If you wish to join, please send an application to Thane Handarthol via mail.
