A letter from a friend

Dearest,
Captain Yisabelle Blackboar,

Regrettably, I've found myself too preoccupied to contact you directly - however, I did find the time to write down the events that transpired the other night (I hope to save you the trouble of having I re-write it)

In the hour just before midnight, I came into contact with the man called, "Ash" the name was obtained during a previous encounter with the man, not that evening). Ash was in the company of an unfamiliar, excitable blonde woman, who's name eludes me.

On 2660 of the Third Age, the 8th of Tuilë

Diary

Dearest Family,

It has been one week since my last letter, and my heart feels the urge to contact you again.

I have been kept quite safe and well within Fangorn Forest. The trees here do not allow foul things into these woods, though they themselves can be rather grumpy. I wish I could understand why. They spoke of the great woods of the First Age, which you, Mother, spoke of often, and how they have since dwindled. The cause seems clear, yet, I know but do not understand. I do, however, feel their sadness.

Dearest Family,

Fangorn has offered me solace on this, only the 2nd night of my Journey. I had anticipated sleeping in the wilderland between the sweet Nimrodel and the distant Limlight, however, my fears would not allow my feet to tarry, and I hurried on through the moonlit night into the Forest. I write to you in a high branch of a lovely oak, who has kindly allowed me respite for the night. Never have I been so frightened. My heart still pounds in my chest from my flight.

Treading Hooves Through The Riddermark: Harwick

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It was sunset when two Riders arrived at the gates of Harwick, a man and a woman hailing of Snowbourn. They were tall in stature and mighty, but their faces were weary. When they were halted at the gate they swiftly claimed that they came to speak with Reeve Aldor Harding, sharing news.

These days have been full of blessings and good news. Rosiebell writes me back!, after all these days she finally managed to communicate with me even with all the slaughter happening to the east. She was fine and even healthy, she said to me that she will back soon. I'm very happy of this!

Sídhanar,

Long has it been since we walked side by side between the great mellyrn together; you, telling me stories of events that have long since passed and the distant lands they took place in.

(The handwriting is sloppy and uneven, like a child's when first learning to write.)

Dear Anelore,

I kissed Deordal (this part is scribbled out so darkly it is almost a tear in the paper)

How are you? That's stupid, you're probably worried about me. Don't be. I am okay. I needed some time to think. Something happened so I ran. I'm not going to tell you where I am because you'll look for me. I guess everyone's running away. I'll come back though.

Snowbourn: Dirty and crumpled letter.

Hey.

A bird told me you will have guests soon. Nosy guests.

A bird told me also that you got a very nice bunch of gold for the last business.

I hope you haven't used it all yet, because I have a proposal for you. A proposal you can't refuse, unless you want our nosy friend be fully informed of your businesses.

I am confident we can find an agreement.

See you soon.

D.

An odd letter

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

True is that Daellas is always worried for something, but this time he really has reason to. The journey led to grim events. Two of their kin were lost, probably dead, and she and Arunel were alive by sheer luck.

Still, besides the actual bad events, and evident problems, there also was something underneath. The feeling of something that wasn't "right". Small yet odd details, shady behaviours. Daellas admitted to not have trusted Tidhelm. Clearly, the old man is a pain to bear, but not trust him? That's a bit too much.
